Se trata de un proyecto complejo y multifac\u00e9tico que requiere conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos en todos los niveles de la ingenier\u00eda, desde las bases del cumplimiento de los estrictos requisitos s\u00edsmicos y de seguridad, hasta la integraci\u00f3n de miles de especificaciones t\u00e9cnicas en la construcci\u00f3n por la gran cantidad de acero y hormig\u00f3n que se utiliza. En su coraz\u00f3n se encuentra el propio sistema del Target o Blanco, en el que se generan neutrones para su uso en experimentos cient\u00edficos a una velocidad de 1018 por segundo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">El proceso de espalaci\u00f3n tiene lugar cuando el haz de protones acelerado golpea el blanco de ladrillos de tungsteno de una rueda de 11 toneladas. Esto producir\u00e1 haces de neutrones para experimentos cient\u00edficos en m\u00faltiples disciplinas. A trav\u00e9s de moderadores y de gu\u00edas de neutrones, dichos neutrones se dirigen a los instrumentos cient\u00edficos para usarse en los distintos experimentos. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">La Target Station de ESS es un proyecto complejo y multifac\u00e9tico que incluye todos los niveles de la ingenier\u00eda nuclear, desde la f\u00edsica b\u00e1sica hasta la construcci\u00f3n y la instalaci\u00f3n. El resultado final de este esfuerzo ser\u00e1 una enorme construcci\u00f3n con m\u00e1s de 3000 t de acero que ser\u00e1 capaz de producir neutrones en el blanco, de reducir su energ\u00eda en el
