Advanced welding

The Advanced Welding Facility is an installation with advanced welding techniques such as Brazing and Electron Beam Welding. Strategically located in the center of 9 cities in the north of Spain, with a large group of nearby suppliers, it can provide coverage to the industry that needs our services to carry out turnkey projects, with experience in international scientific technology projects such as CERN or ITER.

EBW (Electron Beam Welding)

  • Aluminium < 100mm (depending on alloy).
  • Steel < 110mm.
  • Stainless Steel < 110mm.

  • Verificación de temperatura.
  • Grandes espesores.
  • Capilares.
  • Materiales diversos ( Cu, SS, Al, Inconel, Niobio…).

Rotary Device 
  • Circular Welds.
  • 1 chuck.
  • Position to 0 or 90° (ref. beam).
  • Big parts welding:
    • Plate diameter= 600 mm.
    • Centre Height= 405 mm.
  • Heavy pieces welding:
    • Vertical position< 1500 kg.
    • Horizontal position (no tailstock) < 1000 kg.
  • CNC controlled rotation.

  • Circular Welds.
  • 8 chucks → higher production rate.
  • Tilting: 0 ≤ x ≤ 90° → more welding posibilities.
  • Small/Medium pieces welding:
    • 4 loaded pieces → ømáx = 300 mm.
    • 8 loaded pieces → ømáx = 150 mm.
  • Small/Medium weight pieces welding:
    • 4 loaded pieces → Mmáx = 35 kg.
    • 8 loaded pieces → Mmáx = 22 kg.
  • CNC controlled rotations.
